Fabrication, Laser Cutting & Welding
Fiber laser cutting, forming, fabrication and MIG welding for standalone work or complete SJS machinery and tooling projects.
SJS combines laser cutting, forming, welding and machining so fabricated components can be built as part of a complete machine, fixture or tooling project — or handled as standalone manufacturing work.
60 x 120 in. bed. Steel through 3/4 in. is a strong normal capability; thicker material up to 1 in. can be considered case by case. Aluminum through 3/8 in.
220-ton, 12-ft forming capability supporting fabricated assemblies and machine components.
Manual and robotic MIG applications, with material up to approximately 1 in. thick depending on joint design and application.
Fabrication That Supports the Whole Build
Because fabrication lives beside machining, tooling and machine assembly, parts can be designed with the full build in mind — not as isolated pieces.
Typical Work
- Machine frames and weldments
- Fixture bases and supports
- Laser-cut plates and brackets
- Formed guards, panels and machine components
- Robotic MIG welded assemblies
- Production-support fabrication
Need Fabrication as Part of a Larger Build?
SJS can coordinate fabrication with machining, tooling, assembly and machine design.
